Open Casting Call for Feature Film Written & Directed By Jeremiah Zagar
We are looking for a supporting role in The Painted Bride, a film by award-winning director, Jeremiah Zagar (Hustle, We The Animals, TASK). The film explores family, duty, masculinity and what we pass on to our children, and above all – love. A devoted family man, Elisha, consumed by an ambitious art project is pulled back home by a crisis – where his world begins to collapse, expand, and explode all around him.
We have an open call for the lead character’s son, Moses. Moses, age 5/6, is a sensitive, curious boy who loves his family and approaches the world with wonder – still navigating all the big feelings that come with it. For the role, we are seeking:
Boys ages 5 - 9. Any ethnicity. Fluent in English. Familiarity with French a plus. No acting experience or training necessary.
